Our birds don't know where the next meal is coming
from. They don't know when someone will give them a scritch or who will offer them a toy. They count on us to do their bidding for them. That's where we count on you.

have been abused, neglected or abandoned. Every
nickel helps to improve their lives and to cover the
costs of the best possible care we can provide.

HELP US BUILD THE OUTDOOR AVIARY
$10,000 or more DONATION
Your gift of $10,000 will cover the expenses for building the outdoor aviary (and 3 quarantine holding areas) of our dreams. The aviary will be named in your honor, and you will be honored at its opening with a plaque and our undying gratitude. You will be given admission to all WOL Bird Haven special events and workshops without charge for life.

HELP US RENOVATE OUR INDOOR FACILITY
$8,000 or more DONATION
Your gift of $8,000 or more will allow us to make necessary improvements to our existing facility such as the insulation for the aviary. Your name will be prominently displayed at its entrance, and you will be given admission to all WOL Bird Haven special events and workshops without charge for life.

HELP US EQUIP OUR MEDICAL ROOM
$5,000or more DONATION
Your gift of $5,000 or more will allow us to make necessary purchases of equipment and supplies for our medical room. Your name will be prominently displayed at the medical room entrance and you will be given admission to all WOL Bird Haven special events and workshops without charge for the next 3 years.

HELP US PAY FOR MONTHLY UTILITIES

(or close to it) of utilities at the Haven.

* mini-size refrigerator/freezer for our quarantine building

* permanent canopy or awning for use outside the quarantine

* special storage equipment for storing quarantine uniforms.

BECOME A FOSTER CARE

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR IN ADOPTIVE/FOSTER PARENTS?

  1.) Must be 18 years of age or older

  2.) No smoking in the home --- period

  3.) Must not do any bird breeding

  4.) Must live within the state of Texas (Exceptions only for special needs
       birds or special circumstances)

  5.) Must be willing to drive to the Haven to pick up the bird upon adoption

  6.) Be willing to volunteer, take training classes, etc. as required

  7.) Be willing to always feed fresh food--- not only pellets and seeds

  8.) Give the bird plenty of out of cage time daily

  9.) Understand and eliminate the use of teflon products and other
       chemicals in the home

10.) Agree to an in-home check initially, as well as during the first 3
       years after adoption. Agree to ocassional contact from Wings of
       Love Bird Haven, Inc

11.) Agree to relinquish the bird back to Wings of Love Bird Haven, Inc. if
       at any time you can no longer take care of it for any reason. If it is
      necessary for relinquishment no fee will be reimbursed

12.) Sign the agreement/contract
